CE marking is not a premium-quality badge<\/h2>\n

Where a harmonised standard applies, CE marking communicates declared performance through a defined regulatory route. It does not mean every product is suitable for every project.<\/p>\n

The designer still matches declared properties to use, format, support and exposure.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Identify product and intended use<\/h2>\n

Slabs, tiles, modular units, cladding and paving may follow different product standards. Check manufacturer, stone, dimensions, finish, declared use and document date.<\/p>\n

A quarry test on raw rock is not automatically the declaration for every finished product.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Declaration of Performance<\/h2>\n

The DoP identifies the product and declares relevant essential characteristics under the applicable specification. Values may be measured, classified or stated according to the regulatory route.<\/p>\n

Read units, test direction, declared ranges and no-performance-determined entries carefully.<\/p>\n

Do not rely on an old template or assume identical requirements in non-EU markets.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
