It can be considered for interior flooring, wall cladding, bathrooms, reception areas, retail environments and made-to-measure details. Before fabrication, the project team should approve the actual tiles or slabs, vein direction, colour range and proposed layout. Honed finishes create a soft architectural appearance, while polished finishes reveal greater contrast in the grey veining. Thickness, substrate, fixing method, slip resistance and maintenance should be specified for the intended use. Grey Vein is a compact limestone from Fujian province in south-eastern China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is commercially marketed as marble in several Asian and North American markets because of its decorative appearance and ability to take a refined finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The stone is distinguished by numerous fine, near-parallel veins reminiscent of timber grain. Vein direction and density vary with the cut and the selected block; these variations should be treated as design characteristics rather than quality grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Its restrained grey palette and linear movement make it particularly effective in contemporary interiors, hospitality spaces and bespoke architectural details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Grey Vein can be used for interior floors, walls and cladding.
