Payment Terms
MARBRE IMPORT
A clear and secure payment process for bespoke natural-stone orders.
Payment terms at Marbre Import
Our payment process reflects the bespoke nature of natural-stone orders. The schedule stated in the signed quotation and the Terms and Conditions of Sale forms part of the contract and takes precedence over this explanatory page.
Standard two-stage payment
- 50% deposit when the order is placed. The deposit reserves the selected material and allows procurement and bespoke production to begin. A deposit invoice is issued once the order is confirmed.
- 50% balance before delivery. The remaining balance is payable before dispatch. Marbre Import provides the final invoice and, where appropriate, shipment-preparation information before release to the carrier.
Payment is effective only once cleared funds have been received.
Why is the balance payable before delivery?
Each order is sourced, selected, prepared or manufactured for a specific project. This approach limits unnecessary storage and administration costs and allows carefully calculated pricing without building post-delivery collection risk into every quotation.
For complex or managed high-end stonework projects, bespoke milestones may be linked to design approval, procurement, fabrication, site measurement, installation or handover. The signed quotation identifies the applicable schedule.
Accepted payment methods
The standard payment method is bank transfer to the account shown on Marbre Import quotations and invoices. Where agreed in writing, payment may also be made by another secure method identified in the contractual documents.
Never make a transfer to bank details received through an unexpected message. If details appear to have changed, call the number shown on your signed quotation before paying.
A reciprocal commitment
Marbre Import commits to a documented order process, specialist advice, bespoke production follow-up and the transport arrangements stated in the quotation. Clients are asked to respect the agreed payment milestones so that procurement, fabrication and delivery can proceed on schedule.
