Why respirable silica matters
Cutting, grinding and drilling silica-containing stone can release particles small enough to reach deep into the lungs. Repeated exposure can cause serious occupational disease.

Avoid site cutting where pieces can be fabricated in a controlled workshop. Use wet methods or effective local extraction, isolate dusty work and keep people away.
