NF DTU 52.2 addresses bonded installation on defined walls and floors in France. Limits depend on interior or exterior use, support, format, height and product classification.
Large formats, unusual backings or special exposures may fall outside ordinary scope.
Substrate acceptance
Confirm strength, flatness, cleanliness, age, cracks, moisture and movement joints. Primers or levelling products must be part of a compatible approved system.
Waterproofing in wet areas is a separate designed layer.
