G682 Granite
Origin and appearance of G682 Granite
G682 is one of the best-known Chinese granites and has long been specified for projects worldwide.
Quarried in Fujian Province, between Xiamen and Quanzhou, it is an established material in international architectural and landscaping markets.
This natural granite has a medium grain with yellow, gold and soft pink mineral tones, creating a warm and relatively uniform sandy appearance.
It is also known under several commercial names, including China Golden Leaf, Crystal Gold, Dawa Yellow, Desert Gold, Giallo Fantasia and Rustic Veneziano. Lot approval remains important because colour balance can vary by quarry.
Several quarries operate in the region and tones can range from yellow-gold to soft pink. Marbre Import selects blocks and slabs to achieve the colour consistency required for each project.
Characteristics and uses of G682 Granite
Its warm sandy-beige colour makes this granite suitable for polished interior tiles as well as flamed or brushed exterior paving.
It is available as polished tiles for interior floors and walls, flamed, sandblasted or brushed pieces for terraces, aged setts for landscaping and honed panels for exterior cladding.
Its strength, workability and neutral warmth make it a highly versatile specification choice.
The sandy palette works across a wide range of architectural styles and international climates, subject to the appropriate finish and installation system.
This luminous granite pairs naturally with other stones, timber, metal and contemporary façade materials.
