Grey Vein Limestone from Fujian, China, available as a 28 m² tile lot with included offcuts. This linear grey limestone combines a quiet architectural appearance with practical interior applications.
Grey Vein Limestone for international projects
Grey Vein Limestone is particularly suited to calm, contemporary schemes where linear movement is preferred to a strongly clouded pattern. It can be considered for interior flooring, wall cladding, bathrooms, reception areas, retail environments and made-to-measure details. Before fabrication, the project team should approve the actual tiles or slabs, vein direction, colour range and proposed layout. Honed finishes create a soft architectural appearance, while polished finishes reveal greater contrast in the grey veining. Thickness, substrate, fixing method, slip resistance and maintenance should be specified for the intended use. For international projects, Marbre Import can provide lot photographs, dimensional information and technical guidance, coordinate transport and, for high-end schemes, manage the complete stonework package on the client’s behalf. Exterior or facade applications remain subject to project-specific testing and approval.

Grey Vein is a compact limestone from Fujian province in south-eastern China.
It is commercially marketed as marble in several Asian and North American markets because of its decorative appearance and ability to take a refined finish.
The stone is distinguished by numerous fine, near-parallel veins reminiscent of timber grain. Vein direction and density vary with the cut and the selected block; these variations should be treated as design characteristics rather than quality grades.
Its restrained grey palette and linear movement make it particularly effective in contemporary interiors, hospitality spaces and bespoke architectural details.
Grey Vein can be used for interior floors, walls and cladding. Facade or exterior use requires confirmation of the actual lot, finish, fixing system, climate exposure and relevant test data.
The light grey background and regular linear veining can make surfaces feel calm, bright and visually expansive.
Freeze-thaw and exterior-floor suitability must be assessed for the selected lot. We do not recommend exterior flooring in climates with intensive freeze-thaw cycles without project-specific technical validation.

How should the actual stone lot be approved?
Approval should consider the available lot, colour, veining, format, finish, thickness and intended application. Marbre Import can support selection with slab photographs, samples and technical data.
Can this stone be used in kitchens and bathrooms?
Suitability depends on the stone, finish, treatment, expected maintenance and exposure to staining or acidic products. Technical guidance is recommended before ordering.
Why is pricing provided on request?
Pricing varies with the lot, origin, availability, thickness, finish, quantities, fabrication and transport. A tailored quotation reflects the actual project rather than a theoretical list price.
