About Botticino Fiorito Marble
Origin and appearance
Botticino Fiorito is closely related to Botticino Semi-Classico Marble, but is distinguished by pale, flower-like fossil markings; “Fiorito” means flowered in Italian.
It is a compact magnesian limestone commercially sold as marble, quarried near Brescia in northern Italy and formed during the Jurassic.
The light beige ground contains paler flower-like markings distributed with varying degrees of regularity.
Its controlled colour and markings offer a calmer appearance than more variable cream marbles such as Crema Marfil Marble from Spain.
Botticino Fiorito and Botticino Semi-Classico Marble are valued for their dense structure and relatively consistent colour, making them versatile specification stones.
Available finishes include polished, honed, aged, brushed and other project-specific treatments.
Applications and specification
Compared with Botticino Semi-Classico, Botticino Fiorito offers a lighter, more uniform appearance for interior floors, walls and selected façade applications.
Its pale fossil markings bring subtle movement without strong linear veining. It suits floors, walls, bathrooms, stairs and architectural cladding; exterior use requires project-specific technical validation.
