Rainforest Brown Marble: description
Origin and appearance of Rainforest Brown Marble
Rainforest Brown, also known as Bidasar Brown, is a serpentinite-based decorative stone quarried in Rajasthan, India. It is internationally marketed as marble because of its appearance and finishing possibilities.
Its warm brown to beige background is crossed by darker branch- and root-like veins, creating a highly distinctive organic pattern.
Characteristics and applications
Rainforest Brown is primarily selected for decorative surfaces, statement walls, bathrooms, fireplaces, bars and bespoke furniture.
Its earthy palette brings warmth and an organic character to interiors. Wet areas and exterior applications require project-specific assessment of the lot, finish, installation and maintenance.
Bookmatching adjoining slabs can create a dramatic tree-root composition, making the stone especially effective for reception areas, luxury hospitality and feature walls.
