Arabescato Cerviole Marble
Origin and appearance of Arabescato Cerviole Marble
Arabescato Cerviole is a natural marble from the Carrara region of Italy, formed during the Jurassic period.
Its bright white ground is crossed by crisp grey veining of varying width, creating a highly energetic composition.
The contrast between the pale ground and rhythmically distributed veins gives large surfaces exceptional depth and architectural presence.
Broad white fields provide the luminosity associated with the finest Carrara marbles.
Compared with Statuario Carrara Marble, Arabescato Cerviole generally displays broader, denser and more widely distributed veining.
Characteristics and uses of Arabescato Cerviole Marble
Marbre Import particularly values this bright white selection for its crisp, high-contrast veining.
In comparison with Statuario Carrara Marble, Arabescato Cerviole has denser movement that gives the material a more organic and expressive presence.
Like other Carrara marbles, Arabescato Cerviole is suitable for a broad range of interior applications, subject to the appropriate finish and technical review.
It is specified internationally for floors, wall cladding, decorative panels, carving and sculpture; exterior use should be assessed for the selected lot and climate.
It is particularly effective in lobbies and reception areas where a premium identity and practical maintenance are both required.
Bookmatched wall panels amplify its movement and create exceptional depth.
