About Bateig Fantasia Limestone
Origin and appearance
Bateig Fantasia is a fine-grained grey-beige limestone with delicate natural markings.
Quarried in southern Spain, it is geologically classified as a biocalcarénite datant de la période Cétacé.
Closely related to Bateig Beige Limestone, Bateig Fantasia is often specified for façades because of its subtle movement and proven architectural use. Exterior and freeze-thaw performance must be confirmed for the selected lot and system.
Polished or honed finishes suit interior floors and walls, while textured slip-resistant finishes may be considered for terraces and pool surrounds after technical validation.
Applications and specification
Its quiet decorative pattern makes it a distinctive option for façade cladding and contemporary architectural envelopes.
A wide finish range allows the material to be coordinated across interior and selected exterior applications, subject to installation and climate requirements.
It is specified in Europe and North America for projects seeking visual continuity between interior living areas and adjoining terraces, with finishes adapted to each zone.
