Pink Perlino Marble: origin and appearance
Pink Perlino is a highly sought-after pale pink Italian marble, appreciated for the quiet elegance it brings to refined interior schemes.
It is also marketed as Rosa Asiago, Asiago Perlino, Perlino Rosso or Perlino Champagne.
Quarried near Asiago in northern Italy, it displays a generally even powder-pink ground crossed by delicate cream and beige veining.
Its fine, sophisticated texture works beautifully in polished, honed or aged finishes, each producing a different level of softness and light reflection.
A sandblasted finish may also be considered for shower trays and other areas where additional slip resistance is required, subject to technical validation.
