Natural Pink Onyx
Pink Onyx: origin and appearance
Pink Onyx is an exceptionally decorative translucent stone, introducing colour with softness and restraint in refined interiors.
Natural Pink Onyx is quarried in Iran. Its delicate pink colour is associated with the mineral composition of the stone, including manganese.
Its gentle blush tones gain warmth and luminosity when combined with carefully engineered backlighting.
Pink Onyx pairs beautifully with White Onyx and white marbles such as Carrara C or Statuario Marble, whose cooler tones emphasise its natural pink palette.
Individual slabs may include blue-green to near-black veins, giving the stone a wilder, more expressive character.
Unlike tinted onyx, its colour remains naturally subtle, particularly when backlit.
Characteristics and applications of Pink Onyx
Like White Onyx and Honey Onyx, Pink Onyx often forms cloud-like patterns, distinguished by more clearly defined natural veining.
It can be specified throughout luxury residential and hospitality interiors, subject to the application and required maintenance.
Available as slabs, tiles and bespoke pieces, Pink Onyx is particularly suited to feature walls, bathroom vanity tops, bars and decorative panels. Flooring requires project-specific technical approval.
With backlighting, natural Pink Onyx produces a soft, discreet glow, less saturated than tinted White Onyx.
Natural Pink Onyx is highly sought after internationally, particularly for distinctive hospitality and residential projects.
Marbre Import offers a curated selection of slabs and bespoke fabrication support for distinctive, highly personalised interiors.

Suitability depends on the stone, finish, treatment, expected maintenance and exposure to staining or acidic products. Technical guidance is recommended before ordering.
