Green Alps Marble: origin and appearance
Green Alps Marble, also known by its Italian name Verde Alpi, is an Italian natural marble prized for its deep green ground and white, pale-grey or darker veining. It is an expressive decorative stone for interiors where the material must become a defining architectural element.
Its visual depth works particularly well on statement walls, in luxury bathrooms, fireplaces, bars, tabletops and bespoke furniture. As with all strongly veined marbles, slab selection and vein layout are essential to control direction, junctions and the overall balance of the design.
Green Alps Marble stands apart from other green stones through its deeper, more contrasted appearance. Compared with Guatemala Green Marble or Rain Forest Green, it generally feels more mineral and graphic, making it particularly suited to bold architectural compositions.
